- End sentences with appropriate punctuation
- Put spacing between words
- Use correct formation when writing uppercase and lowercase letters
- Use our word wall and sight word books as resources when spelling unknown words
- Use sounding-out strategies to help spell unknown words
- Write one complete sentence
