In the School District of Borough of Morrisville, excellence in education is paramount and this goal cannot be possible unless we first have a safe and comfortable environment in which our students can learn.

To accomplish this goal the district has the following safeguards in place:

-          Secure entrances that restrict access

-          Prescribed process for entering the building:

o   I.D.  check

o   Sign-in

o   Visitors passes

-          Restricted access security doors

-          Security cameras

-          Scheduled fire, evacuation, and lock-down drills

-          Strict adherence to school board policies regarding bullying & harassment ; drug abuse; and bodily harm

-          Raising sensitivity and awareness of our stake holders to State and Federal laws that address weapons – ACT 26
