Thank You Dr. Wallace!
Dr. Bryan Kent Wallace, Associate Professor and Dean of Graduate Studies at Fisk University, came to Morrisville all the way from Nashville Tennessee to talk to our 6th-8th graders. His presentation, Physics in the Real World, is sponsored by MOEF. Dr. Wallace spoke about his personal struggles with math at a young age. "The only difference between you and me, is time." He talked about not giving up, keep practicing and someday solving an algebraic equation will be like adding two plus two. In his talk he also discussed how the human eye perceives light, and how our vision differs from birds and dogs.
