• PBIS is a research-based approach to teaching behavior expectations and creating a positive climate throughout the school setting. Our PBIS program is part of a county-wide initiative to help students with a variety of backgrounds learn specific expectations in a clear, concise manner. Our PBIS team has worked to create a uniform set of behavior expectations throughout the school. This allows students to know what is expected of them in area of the school. Having school-wide expectations allows students to focus on their learning, rather than putting all their focus on what behaviors are expected in each classroom.

The purpose for our S.T.A.R. program is to set clear expectations to create a positive culture which celebrates everyone's success.
