• Ms. Lindsey McCormack

     

    Welcome to the page for Spanish and Spanish culture electives! The following full-year courses are offered at the high school: Spanish I, Spanish II, and Spanish III. The following half-year courses are offered at the high school and are taught in English: Social Unrest of the Spanish-Speaking World and Hispanic Cultural Connections. Spanish is also offered to 7th and 8th graders as part of their specials rotation.

     

    Ms. McCormack has been teaching since 2013. She has a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish and Latin American Studies from Temple University. Ms. McCormack earned her Masters of Education from Chestnut Hill College in 2015. Currently, Ms. McCormack is pursuing her Master of Arts in Spanish from Temple University and is looking forward to attaining her Ph.D. in Spanish as well.

    Remind is sometimes used for class announcements and parent communication. Students can access Remind through the app or website (www.remind.com) and they can use the sign in with Google option to access all of their classes. Parents may also access Remind through the app or website. Please email me if a code is needed to be added to a class.

     

    All grades, assignments, and announcements are posted on Schoology and students should be accessing this each day by navigating to the student portal or by using the Schoology app. Grades are also synced to PowerSchool. Students can check their grades in the PowerSchool student portal. Parents and guardians can also check their student's grades by using the PowerSchool parent portal. Parents and guardians can also check Schoology by using their student's login info.
