Wellness Fitness Initiative - W.F.I.
The Wellness Fitness Initative was constructed with the goal of motivating students to become more involved with their own personal level of physical fitness. It is currently being implemented in grade levels 6th through 10th. The middle school level is involved in a modified version that is used as a stepping stone to the high school level program.
One of the purposes is to allow students the opportunity to strive for a goal based on the areas of physical fitness. We are hoping that the experience of achieving this goal will be motivation to make regular physical activity a part of daily life. Click on the link below for the specifics of this initiative.
