As the days of summer are passing by, I hope this message finds you well. I am writing today to remind you of the School Board's approval of our revised health and safety plan, and to give some insight as to how our schools will reopen in September.
On June 17, the Board voted to approve the required Health and Safety Plan, which maintains our layered approach in our mitigation efforts against COVID 19.
Currently, mask-wearing is optional.
August 11, 2021 UPDATE: Due to CDC and BCDH recommendations, mask-wearing is now required for everyone in our buildings.
Additionally, it is our full intent to return to school 5 days per week, with a full-day schedule for all students.
You can find a copy of the School Board action approving the Health and Safety Plan below.
The Pandemic Planning Committee will meet in August to review current data and to recommend any changes to the current Health and Safety Plan. The Committee will continue to meet throughout the school year as needed, to determine any additional recommended changes to the Board.
